Obama and Thinline Have Hope

Obama is on the air in Iowa talking trash.  He says that whenever he talks about “hope,” that the cynics roll their eyes.  I am certain that you, Barack, would consider ThinLine a cynic.  But do not include me in the eye rolling group because ThinLine DOES have HOPE!!!  Oh yeah, ThinLine ….

* HOPES that you will apologize for taking $10,000 from the backers of the Swift Boat Veterans for Truth and return the money;

* HOPES that if another case like Terri Schiavo’s comes up that will not vote to allow Congressional intervention into the matter like you did with Terri;

* HOPES that next time the bill comes up to cap credit card interest rates at 30% that you will vote yea instead of kissing up to the financial industry and voting NAY like you did last time around;

* HOPES you will be present to vote next time on the bill to allow reimportation of drugs from Canada instead of NOT VOTING like you did this time;

* HOPES that you will stop taking money, at present in excess of $100,000, from the guy who is bundling $$$$$$$$$$$$ from the “network” (not to be confused with a PAC!!!) of defense contractor General Dynamics;

* HOPES you will stop taking $$$$$$$$ from sleazy Chicago politico and slum lord Tony Rezko and that you will promise not to enter into any more shady land deals with him or his wife;

* HOPES you will stop supporting ethanol just to appease big agribusiness and vote yea instead of NAY like you did last time for expanded drilling in the Katrina ravaged Gulf of Mexico;

* HOPES you intend a better health care plan than just subsidizing the auto industry, a plan that even the big guy at GM said was wrong;

* HOPES you will do a better job on the Senate Veterans Affairs Committee and stop a Building 18 horror story before it happens;

* HOPES YOU WILL STOP TRYING TO DECEIVE THE AMERICAN PEOPLE BY SAYING YO DO NOT TAKE PAC MONEY …AND ADMIT THAT WHAT YOU MEAN IS THAT YOU DO NOT TAKE PAC MONEY DIRECTLY …BECAUSE YOU DO TAKE MONEY FROM STATE PACS AND LOBBYISTS AND FROM THE SPOUSES, EMPLOYEES AND “NETWORKS” OF FEDERAL PACS AND LOBBYISTS;

* HOPES that you will stop claiming to be a Washington outsider when you staff is stuffed with Daschle staffers;

* HOPES you will include more women and blacks in TOP level positions;

etc. etc. etc.

TELL OBAMA THAT THINLINE HAS HOPE !!
