Me, Me, Me

Me, me, me, me, me, me me. 

Some of those Illinois voters are hopping mad at you Barack, all prancing around, glam shoting, talking up yourself and not doing your day job.  A loyal member of the Democratic Party in Illinois just sent ThinLine a smack down article about you, Barack, titled “Song of Myself” written by John Dickerson from Slate.com.

But just for fun, let’s look at some of the highlights!!!

It seems that on your “I opposed the war from the beginning (but have done nothing to stop it since I have been in the U.S. Senate and was NOT VOTING last week on the Kyl-Lieberman bill to name the Iranian Revolutionary Guard as terrorists setting the stage for a new conflict)” tour, the stump speech for which Dickerson says “contains “80 uses of the first-person pronoun,” you claimed “keener insight” than Washington politicians (as if you are not one). Anyway, you went on to chastise the non-believers (Pagans!!! All of you. Pagans!) saying that anyone who doubts that assertion is “bent out of shape” by having their assumptions challenged by someone who has “spent time in the wider world” meaning yourself. Me, me, me, me, me, me me.

Now THAT is audacity.

The article discusses why you necessarily rely on your alleged opposition to the Iraq war since it is, well, all you have to offer.  John Dickerson sums it up saying:

“Obama’s reliance on his anti-war position invites stories that question whether he is inflating his courage. This creates a double risk: resume inflation suggests both dishonesty and a lack of anything else to boast about.”  Dickerson continues that: “One risk of bragging is that you turn into a bore.”   

Oh yeah. A bore. A big headed, bloated, voted to allow intervention into the Terri Schiavo matter, hedge fund funded bore.

TELL OBAMA that he is a bore. We are changing the channel.
