Greenhouse Gas

October 9, 2007 / by thinline

The New York Times today discusses Obama’s plan to cut greenhouse gas emissions.

Better late than never. This is what Obama said:

“When they had the chance to stand up and require automakers to raise their fuel standards, they refused,” Mr. Obama said. “When they had multiple chances to reduce our dependence on foreign oil by investing in renewable fuels that we can literally grow right here in America, they said no.”

And yet, not too long ago, Obama supported the Bush Administration energy plan and pushed legislation to line the pockets of the Illinois COAL industry which made environmentalist mighty mad at him. Now Obama is all about reducing greenhouse gas.

And when he had the chance to  expand drilling in the Gulf of Mexico to help economically rehabilitate the Katrina ravaged coast and simultaneously increase US oil production, Obama voted NAY, which made Louisiana and a healthy chunk of Texas mighty mad at him. Now he is all about reducing dependency on foreign oil.

Now.

Another tasty example of the SnakeOil Obama is peddling, now in three flavors!!!! “good judgment,” “new kind of politics,” and “change.”

ASK OBAMA TO READ HIS OWN RECORD. WE ARE.
