Congressional Black Caucus

In an interview with Obama, radio talk show host Roland Martin asked Obama WHY he is not polling better with black voters, why Hillary is ahead.  In what can only be called crazy,  Obama said he believes that black voters are “afraid” to say they intend to vote for him because black voters do not think he can win white votes and so he will ultimately lose and then he will be shattered.

Awwww, that is touching Barack, but totally false.

And Roland Martin, who is based in Chicago, fed into the craziness saying that he gets calls to that effect on his show! The good news here is that, if there is any truth to this at all, America must truly have become color blind. Didn’t Roland and those callers notice that Obama took more votes in white Republican stronghold counties in Illinois than any democrat before him?  Obama gets white votes and $$$$$$$$$$$. Did Roland and those callers not notice the many white faces at these many thousand person rallies? Come on.

Another one for the “Oh Please !!!!!!!!’ file.

The answer was clear at the Congressional Black Caucus (CBC) annual event in Washington DC this week.  Surprise Barack, ThinLine was there!!! Seriously, I was there.

So, Barack, if you really want to know why Hillary is ahead, ThinLine can help you.  What I heard was that Hillary has been coming to the CBC, working with the organization, supporting the organization, promoting the goals of the organization, for 17 years. They know her. They respect her. They like her. And, apparently, they are voting FOR her.  Not because they think you cannot win, but because they see proven commitment, leadership and results with Hillary. That is what I heard.

Got nothing to do with being afraid to say they support you. They just don’t.

Now I know you know this was the word at the Washington Convention Center because I recognized some of your henchmen.

ThinLine did not hear any mention of the fact that your top campaign and senate staffers are white men and, of course, you could not see it since you send your black advance people (“face of the campaign”) to a black event.  But somehow, I don’t think it went unnoticed at the CBC.
